These are larger activities in place. More to be added soon! There will be a schedule of events listed on post when you enter by either the Visitor Center or Picnic area.
23 July 2010, Friday
NOON- Reenactors begin to arrive… the fort will be bustling with activity as present day Living Historians set camp to step back in time to 1864.
24 July 2010, Saturday
0900 - Parade in Bucksport, we will fall in half way along parade route on Main Street.
1030 Wedding, you are welcome to attend. Please bring a “gift” for the bride and groom of non-perishable items for the military food bank here in Maine.
1300– Execution on Parade Grounds
1430 - Battle on Battery B followed by medical scenarios
1700 -
2000 – Public exits fort
2015 *******Last Shuttle to Bucksport leaves*********
2100ish– Fireworks over the Bay… best viewed from Bucksport
25 July 2010, Sunday
0915 Church Service followed by Wedding. You are welcome to attend. Please bring a “gift” for the bride and groom of non-perishable items for the military food bank here in Maine.
